Cara Menseting Ip Addres Pada Windows XP

IP (Internet Protocol) address adalah deretan angka biner yang terdiri dari 32-128 bit yang berfungsi sebagai alaamat setiap komputer/Host.

Kali ini saya akan berbagi tentang cara menseting ip address pada windows xp kepada rekan2 sekalian:

1. buka control panel
2. pilih network and internet connections
3. pilih network connections
4. lalu pilih local area connection (LAN)

Untuk melihat alamat IP komputer klik tab “support”
Untuk mengubah alamat IP klik tombol “properties”, maka akan muncul tampilan seperti ini

centang bagian “show icon notification area when connected” tujuannya supaya muncul icon di sebelah pojok kanan taskbar windows pada waktu komputer anda terkoneksi ke jaringan. Icon ini mempermudah dalam mengakses network properties. Seperti ini tampilan icon tersebut.


Untuk mengubah alamat IP pilih Internet Protocol ( TCP/IP ) kemudian klik tombol properties maka akan muncul tampilan berikut.

Opsi “Obtain IP address automatically” dipakai jika dalam jaringan anda terdapat DHCP server. Apa itu DHCP server ? DHCP adalah metode pemberian alamat IP secara otomatis. Untuk mensetting IP secara manual pilih opsi “use the following IP address” , disini anda bisa mengisikan IP Address, subnet mask, serta default gateway yang ingin dipakai.

Jenis-jenis kabel jaringan

Kabel jaringan

kabel jaringan adalah sebuah media yang di gunakan untuk menghubungkan komputer 1 dengan komputer lainnya untuk saling bertukar Informasi. Selain menggunakan kabel, kita juga dapat saling berkomunikasi dengan jaringan komputer yaitu, WIRELESS. tapi, kali ini saya akan membahas tentang kabel jaringan.

• Kabel Coaxcial

Kabel ini merupakan kabel yang memiliki serat-serat di dlamnya yang di selaputi oleh tembaga yang berfungsi intu melindungi kabel dari radiasi medan magnet yang ada di sekitar kabel.
Kabel ini terdiri atas 4 Bagian yaitu:

1. Isolator luar (outer jacket) yang merupakan bagian kulit pembungkus terluar untuk melindungi seluruh bagian kabel. 
2. Pelindung atau disebut juga grounding (barided copper shielding) yang merupakan serabut kabel terpilin bersilang yang berfungsi mengantisipasi frekuensi listrik yang tidak diinginkan. 
3. Isolator dalam (plastic insulation) yang merupakan kulit pelapis kabel konduktor. 
4. Konduktor (copper cunductor) merupakan inti kabel tunggal atau serabut yang berfungsi sebagai medium transmisi data.

 2. Kabel Twisted Pair

Kabel twisted pair merupakan kabel jaringan yang didalamnya terdiri atas beberapa kabel yang saling berpasangan. Sama seperti kabel coaxial, cara kerja dari kabel Twisted Pair adalah dengan mengahantarkan arus atau sinyal listrik dari sumber ke tujuan. Kabel twisted pair ini terbagi atas jenis, yaitu STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) dan UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair)

1. STP adalah jenis kabel yang memiliki selubung pembungkus tembaga/alumunium foil yang khusus dirancang untuk mengurangi gangguan elektrik.
2. UTP adalah kabel yang terdiri dari 4 pasang kabel terpilin mirip kabel telepon.

3. Kabel Fiber Optik

Tidak seperti dua kabel sebelumnya yang menggunakan tembaga sebagai media penghantarnya. Kabel fiber optik ini tebuat dari serat kaca atau plastik yang sangat tipis. Karena terbuat dari kaca, sinyal yang dikirim oleh FO ini berupa cahaya dari sumber ke tujuan.

Makanya tidak heran bila transmisi kabel ini lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan dua kabel sebelumnya. Salah satu kelemahan kabel ini adalah gangguan (noise) yang sering terjadi apabila tertekuk walaupun hanya sedikit.

Bagian-bagian kabel fiber optik adalah sebagai berikut.

1. Pelindung kabel (cable jacket) yang merupakan bagian kulit pembungkus terluar untuk melindungi seluruh bagian kabel. 
2. Pelindung fiber (strengthening fibers) berfungsi menjaga kabel dari benturan keras. 
3. Lapisan plastik (coating) berfungsi menjaga kabel dari tekukan. 
4. Lapisan tipis (cladding) berfungsi sebagai pembatas yang memuat gelombang cahaya sehingga data dapat ditransmisikan. 
5. Fisik medium utama (core) berfungsi sebagai medium transmisi data.
